Gregory is now and has always been a propganda minister for the DNC and the left. He is no journalist!

By the transcript it is hard to say Gregory was drunk, he was talking and acting in a bizarre and weird way, but I think it would be very hard to say he was absolutely drunk or drinking.

Let us simply consider the obvious since the Cheney shooting incident and today, Gregory is mentally and emotionally unbalanced and needs serious, urgent care.

If not drunk then Gregory just comes off as a retard. Better to go with the “Sorry, I’d been slinging G&Ts all night” excuse than “no, I was stone cold sober and an idiot.”

I could not agree more with “Bob the Drinker.” The claim that he was drunk is not an accusation; it’s his only defense.
Anybody remember Alex Bennett, a radio guy (sort of a Stern precursor)? He used to tell his callers “Namas Te” which, he would explain, means “I see the God within you.” Memories of my youth!

Remember, following the leftist “chickenhawk” logic, you aren’t allowed to give your opinion of David unless you are a) opposed to drinking, or b) are, in fact, drunk yourself. Otherwise, you’re a drunkenhawk, or something.

Or maybe not. The logic’s kinda hard to follow.

Ian, since when do you know how being high feels? First hand experience? :-)

Anyways, it is impossible to judge whether he is high or drunk from the video. If I had to choose between the two, I’d say he is high, but if he were trully a pothead he wouldn’t act so stoned, that’s for sure.

You right wing freaks are just so pissed off that Clinton did in eight years what the neo-con facist right-wing hasn’t been able to accomplish in 20 years. From where I sit, seems to me the only things the GOP can do right are run up record deficits, antagonize the crap out of the rest of the world with “wanna-be cowboy” tough-guy swagger (just a cover for cowardice), eliminate civil and women’s rights, cater to corporate America while pissing on its working-class citizens and the Constitution and worship the almighty dollar above all else.

Cheney, who admits to drinking and has two convictions for drunk driving, behaved like a drunk driver who, when involved in a traffic accident, flees the scene in order to avoid accountability. I completely understand Gregory’s frustration at what appears to be some sort of cover-up. Was Cheney intoxicated that day? We will never know. Regards
