(Hat Tip: Drudge)

HUFF POST (Where else) – So, I suppose the question is…what kind of civil trial will we see, or not see, between Cheney and Whittington? Whittington is certainly no stranger to a court room and to civil litigation. Will Cheney pay him off, preemptively? Will they go to court? I would imagine if a guy with a few beers in him shoots you in the face on a hunting trip, how could you turn down that opportunity?

###

Cheney is a terrorist. He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately. Who ever thought Harry Whittington would be the answer to America’s prayers. Finally, someone who might get that lying, thieving Cheney into a courtroom to answer some direct questions.

What really bugs me is these liberals can come up with their whacko conspiracy theories and act as if they are dead on, yet can’t back any of them up with a shred of evidence. I guess that is what makes them conspiracy theories, but it would be nice to have some kind of truth to this, so sane people can follow along. I don’t know what is worse, Baldwin’s diatribe or the fact that many die hard liberals (now ironically called “progressives”) believe this crap. If Baldwin put an ounce of the work he does in his conspiracy theories as much as he does in his actor, he could actually be worth spending $8 on.

On a final note, I wonder if Alec will finally leave the country like he promised he would if Bush was elected.

UPDATE: I saw this comment a third of the way down the page. It sounds like it comes from a real Democrat, not from the fringe, who has hijacked the party:

Hey, Alec. Why don’t you threaten to leave the country until Cheney is dragged into court? Oh, wait a minute. You already famously threatened to leave the country when Bush was elected. But you never keep your word.

For the record, I can’t stand Cheney and I believe, along with most of the readers of this post, that he and the Bushies are destroying this country. However, our cause is not helped by Hollywood actors who run their mouths and then don’t have the conviction to follow up on their public promises. It results in a loss of credibility, not only to you, but to the cause you are advocating. Please abstain from dabbling in politics, Mr. Baldwin. Leave it to stars like George Clooney who actually back up their words with actions.

[...] Really, I should not be writing this. I should be sleeping. Or working. Not this. But, after reading a little story about Alec Baldwin, I would like to talk about a topic I have been sitting on for a while. That topic is actors who make political statements are contributing to America’s ignorance. [...]

Sad to see how the once honorable Democratic party has been seized by pathetic worms such as this Alec. All the public mockery and ridicule this administration has had to endure by the likes of Alec, and the MSM is reminiscent of Andrew Jackson’s presidency which is very ironic. He was mocked and ridiculed by every paper, they called him names like “King Andrew? (sounds familiar) a Barbarian and even had his own wife labeled a whore in the press. Jackson would weep if he were able to witness today what his party has been reduced to.

But I have a solution for the worms that have hijacked the Democratic party. Do as all the Jackson haters did when they formed The Whigs (Anti-Jackson party), but in your cases the Anti-Bush/Military/Conservative party and leave the Democratic party alone before you destroy it.

    Collective Hysteria…

One has to wonder about the entire subject of collective insanity, here. Do these people really believe what they are saying, or are they just acting out, expressing their frustration, much like a child keeps pushing his parents until they finally get …

I think they are just acting out their frustration. I have had in depth conversations with all the Liberals in my circle of family and friends – to a Man (and Woman) not a single can give me a logical and rational set of reasons as to why they support liberal ideology and/or hate Bush. They honestly don’t “Think” about it – it’s totally emotional. They fear and distrust capitalism and religion – even in the face of evidence that both of these forces help society in many, many cases.

They don’t attribute rational thought to their defense of Democrats and/or Liberalism. The ends always justify the means.

To give you an example it’s kind of like when people haggle over something. Someone says they’ll only accept a rediculously high price in the hopes that they’ll get a good price – even if it’s not the rediculously high price they asked for to begin with.

They can’t play it straight. They can’t just come out and say what they believe and/or want in the realm of politics. They automatically assume everyone else is lying or scheming – therefore it doesn’t matter to them how crazy they sound. That’s why they don’t seem to have a sense of shame or dishonor at some of the nonsense they spout off.

Modern Liberalism is – at it’s core – simply a chronic form of cynisism. They base everything they do and believe on the worst possible outcome. They assume the worst of all people and all situations.

They don’t “Plan for the worst and hope for the best” – they “Plan for the worst and expect the worst”.

Alec Baldwin’s tinfoil hat slips again…

I expect Liberals to hate Cheney. Hell, the guy grimaces so much, it’d be hard Republican to like him, too. But to lump him in with jihadists blowing up innocent people is way beyond the pale. Does Baldwin represent “mainstream” Democrats & Liberals…

Alec Baldwin is not the only Hollywood dope to run his mouth. Actor Richard Dreyfuss wants to adopt the Geneva Conventions for the terrorists prisoners at Gitmo.

He also wants to impeach Bush.

I would be HAPPY to treat the detainess at Gitmo under the Genevqa convention,
    1) They were caught on the battlefield out of uniform. Geneva Convention prescribes summary execution without any trial.

    2) They waged war on civilians. The Geneva convention prescribes summary execution for this offense, also wihtout any trial required.

Take all the Gitmo detainess out and hand two bullets to each firing squad membere to insure no misses. With everyone of the “detainees” executed as prescribed by the Geneva conventions, there is no longer a need for Gitmo; so you could close it.

Richard (the Doofus) Dreyfus should beware of what he asks for. He just might get it.
