David Gregory has won the Judge Elihu Smails award at Ankle Biting Pundits.

Who is this award named for? Judge Elihu Smails, the character in the film Caddyshack who asks of the obnoxious but lovable Al Czervick (played by Rodney Dangerfield), “Good Lord, what has this buffoon done now??

Ankle Biting Pundits has this to say of Gregory’s recent “break outs” in the White House press room:

As the parent of a rather precocious 2 1/2 year old I’ve had some experience dealing with temper tantrums, but my kid has got nothing on Gregory. In fact he even remarked to me while watching the video that “Gee Dad, I hoist my sippie cup to him. How come that guy he’s talking to doesn’t spank him like you spank me when I act like that”.
