PFC Joshua Sparling of the 82nd Airborne phoned in on Thursday’s edition of The Sean Hannity Show to discuss his progress. Sparling injured his leg while serving in Iraq. When he received medical attention it was thought that his leg would have to be removed, however he has had several surgeries and is going through a long recovery process. Sparling was made famous when he received what he thought was a ‘get well’ card, but was actually a death wish.
Sean Hannity visited Sparling during a recent trip to Walter Reed and has since sent him several movies and an iPod.

I’ll be sending a card to Sparling. I think he and my hubby are from the same unit. These guys, especially the 82nd, are amazing warriors. Most people cannot even imagine how wonderful they are. Very selfless. They don’t complain.
